Al Hoota Cave
Al Hoota cave is approximately 2 million years old and has the only show cave in the Arabic Peninsula. Standard tourists can only access 500m of it. However, we can offer two guided trips:
- 3km easy trip – explore a section of the cave with no abseiling. We enter from the show cave and then swim into the non-tourist area. There are numerous pools through different shaped passages that lead to some beautiful formations. We return back the same way and exit through the show cave.
- 5km hard trip – explore from the cave entrance above the showcave in the hills and exit via the show cave. This exhilarating trip involves rock scrambling, abseiling, jumps into pools, swimming (longest poool is 800m) and enables you to see some of the beautiful formations such as the golden passage and hidden waterfall. A fantastic through trip adventure!
